While we are no longer in the era of live changing music, don't discredit all of them. Granted they're not the Beatles or Dylan, but I feel that I must defend Green Day and Gorillaz. "America Idoit" is a ballsy album. It's a political middle finger set to solid music. Gorillaz, well they're somewhat original. And that's a lot more than many artists can say. I'll even step and defend Kanye. He'snot that bad.
Moo-riah? Shit. And I hate to say it, but Gwinnie, my idol, made quite possibly the most annoying and meaningless song I've heard in a while.
Don't stop get it get it. Yeah, for the most part, the actual artists are not to blame. I'm disappointed in the Grammys. There is better music out there; I know there is. Since when are the Grammys and the Billboard awards the same? The Grammys used to represent creativity, but now they're just mainstream "who's the most popular" awards.
Glad the Oscars still have some clue of what's actually good in movies. Otherwise Wedding Crashers would be up for best picture.
